Mike and Terrell at the front desk showed a very high level of hospitality. The rooms are very comfortable. This is more of a boutique-style hotel. They aren't the largest rooms, but the premium pillow too mattresses make up for that. Walk in showers are great. The only suggestion I would make is to ask for a room on the 4th floor. There's not a lot of sound proofing in the walls/ceiling, so people from the rooms above walking around can be an issue. I will definitely stay here again

I had a very pleasant stay for my birthday staycation! This was my first stay at the Darwin. Even before checking in I received a very nice email letting me know all the details about my stay. They even left a few balloons and cookies in my room. I also received a nice note for my birthday upon check in. Everyone on staff that I came across (Terrell, Mike, Chase & a couple ladies at the bar) was so nice. I had breakfast, attended happy hour and had dinner. Breakfast was my fav. I'll definitely be back!! One thing I can mention is that I stayed on the 3rd floor and its a very creaky place. I could hear everything above me. I'll make sure to try and grab a top floor room next time! Thank you again to everyone who made my birthday so special!!

We loved our room, having the space of 2 queen beds allowed our pup to be comfortable, beds were super comfy, and the vinyl record play was such a nice touch. Thank you Asharah and Marquetta at the front desk for going above and beyond to make our stay perfect! You guys are amazing! 10 out of 10 customer service.

I loved my stay at The Darwin Atlanta Midtown. The staff was warm, welcoming, and even went out of their way to give me good suggestions for places to check out around Atlanta. The room was clean, spacious, and the beds were comfortable. I love that there is a full length mirror and they provide complimentary water. The location of the hotel was perfect, in midtown but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, close to a grocery store and convenience store. I would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel is so cute! The rooms have character and the paper cranes are so fun! The staff is so helpful and welcoming and kind. We were greeted warmly by Mike who offered us a crane to exchange for a glass of champagne or a coffee at the bar. Chef Thomas chatted with us about food and made great recommendations and Majeeda, the bartendress made delicious drinks and enchanting conversation and wooed us with her beautiful singing voice. Mike also taught me how to make paper cranes, which was so much fun! We will be back for sure!

I had the pleasure of being checked in by Terrell, and what a warm and wonderful welcome I received. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. I also had a brief conversation with Efrain, the Director of Operations, and Chase, the General Manager. It’s clear this is an excellent leadership team, and that standard truly trickles down throughout the staff. I will definitely be a repeat guest and will gladly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thank you all, and well done.

UPDATE: Chase Masari made things right at check out! He acknowledged our experience and apologized. He offered a discount future stay to rectify for our experience and we greatly the professionalism and hospitality. The hotel itself was clean, and the front desk service was great. The issue is that the floors are thin, which means sleeping in a room under the floor above is disruptive. Our room was #203. The guests above our room were actively stomping through their room, causingthe ceiling to literally shake. I called the front desk past 10pm to ask if they can make a courtesy call to the guests above to limit their movement as it's quiet hours. They must have because for about an hour, the stomping, and dragging sounds stopped only for it to continue again around 12am. The stomping returned and woke me up from my sleep. I'm not sure what they are doing upstairs that's causing the extra movements, or if they have children playing but it came at the cost of it comfort and peace. I will advise that if you stay here, request the top floor to prevent dealing with upstairs guests.

The front desk staff was amazing! Marquetta truly went above and beyond with her customer service. I had a small issue with my room, and she immediately took care of it by upgrading me to a king suite. I really appreciated the level of care and professionalism she showed. The room was clean, the showers were hot, and everything was incredibly comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here. If you get the chance, I hope you get to meet Marquetta—she’s fantastic
